MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

Today, I got to eat two very delicious meals. For lunch, I got to eat abalone and at night I got to eat Dad's Roast Beef. The beef I got was very tender and juicy. I liked it so much that I ate the whole piece, of the meat :) Thank You Dad for cooking such a delicious meal. <3

Only two more days till christmas eve, all I want to eat is roast beef :)

There is only two more days until it is christmas and I am so excited!!! Tomorrow, we will be having a family gathering with Teddy Uncle and Amy Auntie at our house. There will be a lot of food especially dad's famous roast beef!!!! I feel like that I am gaining so much weight because the times when I am not doing something, I am always hungry. Also, there is so much parties for me to go especially with the delicious food that comes along with it. I am having a very good christmas!!!!

Today, I went to my friends house where there I got to play with her dog. Remember the one which I had took a video of it running on the treadmill? Well, it was extremely excited to see me and my mom because it had never saw me for months since I was always busy due to my homework.

On Saturday, we went to a christmas party. I had a lot of fun because there was a lot of food and we also got to dance. We brought curry fish and meatballs which was cooked my my dad. It was very yummy. Also, some people bought sticky rice, and dessert. The dessert was the chinese kind which menas no cake, etc. Here is a few pictures I took in the day with my new headphones and also at night during the party. The First Day of Christmas Break!!!!

Sorry that I haven't been posting on my blog; since I had to do a lot of project before the christmas break came so I could have no homework during the christmas break. The sad news is that there is homework for both chinese school and math school :(

There will be many christmas parties during this whole week and I am going to be very busy. Also, I love the IPhone!!! We got someone to fix it and it is now so awesome. I downloaded some themes and it now looks so ying jai!!! Thanks Soo Soo for letting me have it :)

The second picture present should be from Auntie Iris and please pass on my thanks to her. When I will be either using or wearing any other presents, I will try to take a picture of me in it. I really like the second one because it is from my favourite clothes shop in Hong Kong!!! Also, I love the shirt it is wearing, so kawaii!!!

Today, I went and watch the movie The Twilight Saga: New Moon. It was pretty awesome because there were many cute boys ;) but I think that the movie was better than the book. The book was like repeating itself again and again while the movie was keep on moving forward. I really enjoyed watching it and I hope that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will come out!!!

Me and Stuffed Animals :)

I took a picture with the stuffed animals I got for christmas. The other one was from my secret santa. Secret Santa is a game we play at school and it is like a game for present trading. The rules is as follows: the names are put into a box/hat/etc and one person goes up and pick a name. The name they got is the person they will have to buy and give a present for. The purpose is not to let them know who you got until the day you give them the gift. I am doing this between my math class and day school. That means that I will have to buy two presents. The one at math class is already done and that was what I got from my secret santa at math class.

DAD is back home and I am very happy that he is back home sweet home safe and sound. Thank you to all for such wonderful presents and I love all of them.

I'm sorry that I haven't been posting on my blog since there is many things going on before the winter break. Today is also the first day that snowed and it was very heavy since it was wet. I went to school late because of the weather; it was hailing, snowing and very windy!!!

My Report Card~~~

I got my report card back on thursday and I am very happy about my results because my overall average is 84%. In total, there were 14 marks and 11 of them were As. This is the highest average I ever got and it was even higher than the average I got last year in Term 3!!! Also, the math class really helped me because I am getting 90 and 95% in my math. I am really happy about these marks. I hope that daddy will come back soon enough so that we will have a feast to celebrate my good report card!!!

Report Card :(

I will be getting my report card this coming week and I am so scared. I hope that I will get good marks in it because I am hoping that I got a higher average than last year.

Dad will be going on the plane in a couple of minutes and I wish that he will have a safe trip going there and back. I wonder what kind of gifts is he going to get me when he is in Hong Kong. HEHE!!! Umm, Dad, hope that you have a very safe trip and a good time in the short 10 days in Hong Kong!!! You are making me very jealous because I want to go there again even though it is for 10 days.

V.I.P Program

Today, we had a police officer come to our school. His name was David and he talked to us about the law and drugs. Also, he showed us a video about a girl who actually did one of the drugs and got addicted to it. The drug she did was crystal and it is really addictive. It can make a person high and the feeling can last for days. I got really scared after hearing the consequences because during the feeling you have when you got the drug, you will feel that there are bugs on your skin and you will start peeling your skin away to get rid of those "bugs". Also, it will make you feel paranoid and you won't be able to observe your surroundings.

Another thing he talked about was the three types of laws. There is the municpal law, federal law and provincal law. The municpal law is only for cities for example markham, toronto, etc. The federal law is for the whole country which means for the entire Canada and the provincal law is for provinces for example Ontario, Quebec, etc.

Christmas Carols...

I can't wait till December 18 because on that day, it is when the Christmas carols will be sung. I will have to play with the Wind Ensemble while the students will sing along with us. We will be playing two times; once for the primaries and juniors and the second time for the intermediates. I am kind of having a tough time because there is a lot of high notes compared to the song I played for So Soo(Happy Birthday) and whenever we play, we make weird noise or screeching high noises. I always cringe whenever I create those kinds of sound.

Eye Check Up!!!

This morning, I went to Missuasauga for eye check up and they said that my eyes were doing pretty well. I will be getting new presciption glasses since the doctor said that my eyes are getting better. We spended the total time of around an hour there because first I had a checkup with another doctor and then I got eyedrops, then a nurse checked my eyes to see my presciption and last but not least, the real doctor came and checked over everything and made sure everything was correct. During the waiting time, I got to watch parts of Chicken Run even though I couldn't hear a thing; since the waiting room was very noisy.

When I got to school today, I couldn't see a thing because the eye drops they putted in my eyes made me unable to see clearly. I had to have my friend write my name for me so I could hand in my assignments. She said that she became Samantha Yeung because she was writing my name for me so much times but actually, it was only for two times.

Eye Doctor Checkup

On Tuesday, I will be going to the eye doctor for checkup. It will be at Mississauga and I will be missing school!!! Tracy, meet you at Mississauga for yum cha. See you there!!! Also, here is a few other pictures I took at school last week.

123 POSTS ON MY BLOG!!!

Hooray!!! I offically have 123 posts but now counting this one, it is 124 posts on my blog.

Yesturday, we went to Scarbourgh Town Centre where we went shopping. It was a very long time since we went shopping so there were many interesting changes at the mall and also many sales. We went to several shops and I bought 2 sweaters because it was on sale and we got an extra additional 20% off on that day. Another good thing was that I got to use my heelys and rolled around. It was pretty awesome because I "walked" faster than my dad.

Bully Lobster

Last month, after a noon dance party, we ate a 6+ lbs lobster to celebrate. It was very sweet and yummy since there was a lot of meat. Soo Soo, after you looked at this picture, did u 流口水??? I did even though I ate a lot. Thank You Big Line Dance Teacher, for treating us in this delicious meal.

Before it got eaten, I got a picture with the lobster. I never knew that lobsters could watch tv because this one was like the women in Titanic. :D

Chinese Exam

Today was the Chinese Exam and at first I thought that I was going to fail it since the sheet he gave us to review was very hard to understand. (My mom helped me study.) After doing the test, I realised that it was very simple since the teacher gave us hints which made it much easier to do. Also, I got my math test that I had to do last week. Guess what I go.... a 97%!!!! I got the highest mark in my whole class. (This is not for day school.)

Reflection: This year, after going to math classes, I think that my math have improved a lot. This term, my average is around the 90s so I'm pretty sure that helped me a lot in improving my math grades. Also, my language is much improved maybe because I spend lesser time on asking for help in math but to think more deeper. I HOPE THAT MY GRADES HAVE IMPROVED SINCE LAST YEAR!!!

Hey... What day is it on November 13??? If you guessed it a day for one of my math test, then I'm very sorry to tell you that you are wrong. On November 13, it is Soo Soo's Birthday!!! That means that he is now one year older which = more white hair and also lesser hair. HAHA!!! Well Soo Soo, i'm going to send you this video and I hope you enjoy it. Sorry for the bad quality but I have a lot of homework still to be done so I can of rushed it. So, Soo Soo, please don't get mad me just because I rushed it. Happy Remembrance Day to Everyone!!! I had a great time performing for the entire school. The number of students that were staring at us were about 700 people and I never missed a note, squeaked or paused!!! The five songs we played for the concert was O Canada, Aura Lee, Chorale 87, Chorale 156 and Glorious Things. To me, I think that O Canada is the hardiest for me to play since some of the notes were very high but they gave us a easier option. Whenever I play very high notes, I squeak or can't make a sound and only air comes out.

Remembrance Day!!!

On November 11, it will be remembrance day. The main meaning of this day is to remember the soldier that fought and died during World War II. The wind ensemble will be practicing for two days this week and we will be playing a couple of songs. One of the songs I definitely know we will be playing is Ode to Joy and Aura Lee.

On Sunday, we had to do our Daylight Saving. Our time in Canada is an hour slower than yours in Hong Kong so make sure you calculate what time it is for us!!! DON'T CALL US DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT... we will not pick it up!!! HAHA!!! :D

Finally...

Tomorrow is the workshop and I can not wait!!!! There will be a professor from the University of Toronto of the Faculty of Music and two other high school music teachers. They will be teaching us along with grade 10's and university students. At night, we will be performing 3 songs: Aura Lee, Chorale and Rock Point 5 (my favorite song). SO EXCITED about tomorrow!!!

Week FILLED WITH FUN!!!

I can't wait because this week will be filled with fun. On Wednesday at school, we will be having a Junior Achievement program in which two people come and talk to us about business and life. I hope that it will be exciting because last year, I remembered that we got a certifcate afterwards with our names on it. On Thursday after lunch, an author: Marina Cohen will be coming to our school and talking to us about her experience in writing stories. Also, we will be having a band practice before school on Thursday. Lastly, on Friday we will be having a band workshop and also a concert at night. It will be so exciting.

GUESS WHAT IS SATURDAY???? It is HALLOWEEN!!! I can't wait until the Halloween Party because I will be dressing up. I will take a picture and post what my costume is.... it will be a secret!!!!

2 HOURS OF MUSIC!!! YIPEEE :D

Tommorrow is the first band practice I have and it is at 7:30am. I hope that I will be able to wake up on time to go because the band conducter doesn't like us being late. Also, after band practice, the first subject I will be having is music so YAY ME, I will be getting 2 hours of band practice.

Sorry for the typos in the earlier post, Florence you are correct it is suppose to be Montreal and Ottawa. But I don't know which part of Montreal we are going to go to but all I know is that we will be going to museums, the parliament hill and some other places.

YIPEE!!!

Hooray!!! Option 2 has won which means that we will be going to Ottawa and Quebec for 4 days 3 nights. Also, all of my friends will be going and I hope that we will be able to share a room... IT WILL BE SO COOL!!!

Wind Ensemble Workshop

I have made it into the Wind Ensemble. On October 30, I will going to Pierre Elliot Trudeau High School with the entire school band to have a workshop there. It will last for the whole day... that means I will be missing a whole day of school!!! AWESOME!!! Also, at night, there will be a concert and I think that we will be performing in it. This will be the best musical experience for me because think of it, I will not be the one listening but the one playing.

Also, this year for our gradutaion trip, we will be going to Montreal. We don`t know how much days we will be staying there. There is 4 options for us to choose and the one that the people choose most will be the one we will be doing. One of them is 4 days 3 nights in Montreal, 4 days 3 nights in Montreal and Ottawa, 3 days 2 nights in Montreal and the last one is not going. I hope that the 4 days 3 nights in Montreal and Ottawa wins. May the best one be chosen.... :P

Back => Home Sweet Home

Since the last four days, I went to a dance workshop in Chicago, I was unable to post anything on my blog. There was no internet because the only way we could get internet was by paying and it wasn't worth it since we would only have less than an hour to go on the computer and then we had to go back and dance again. The workshop took place in the lobby of the hotel we were living in. There were 5 rooms and in each room, every hour a choreographer would be teaching their own dance. Then they would switch to different people. Some of the dances we have already learned since our teacher have taught a lot of it. I had a great time because I learned manyy new dances and met most of the choreographers. I even had each choreographer sign my event t-shirt. It was pretty awesome experience for me!!!!

Jessie!!!

Today, there was a line dance party for THREE birthday. Two of them were line dance teacher and the other was our big teacher's other half. The theme for this party was either to dress like a cowboy or cowgirl. Of course, I was a cowgirl and the idea of my costume kind of came from the disney character, Jessie. Tell me what you think about my costume.

Happy Mid Autumn Festival!!!

Happy Mid Autumn Festival to EVERYONE!!! I hope that all of you won't be fat after eating the delicious mooncakes. :P I already ate an entire mooncake and it was very very yummy... don't worry it is a minature version!!! Did I get you???

At school, I got to join the Wind Ensemble... YAY!!!! I made it into the band and I am so psyched about it because this will be my first time joining a band and especially a school band. I hope that my playing on the clarinet will improve drastically.

Sorry...

Sorry, that I haven't been posting this week. I have a project that is due tomorrow so that is why I was busy the whole week trying to finish it. This project is for science and we had to make a simple water filter using filteration materials. The filteration materials is your choice but it has to be able to filter dirt mixed with water. I used sink filter, coffee filters, sand, rocks, gravel, aquarium sponge, activated carbon and spice bags. I hope that I will be sucessful and will be able to create a good filter and I hope that it will get a good mark.

Today was Milk Day so we got a carton of milk for free. Last year, they handed out white milk but this year, it is chocolate milk. It tasted like cold hot chocolate, which is one of my favourite drinks. Also, today was the first lesson for yoga. It was very relaxing because near the end of the class, we got lie down on our mats and forget everything that happened. It was also the same teacher as last year and it was also at lunch recess.

PA DAY!!!

Yesturday was my mom's birthday and she had lessons to go to. Mom, here is the missed birthday song: Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birthday to Dodo, Happy Birthday to You!!! :)

Also, I didn't get any ribbons this year in the Terry Fox Run but I was in 7th place. This year, instead of handing out the top 10, it was the top six so no ribbons. :( The total distance we had to run was 2200 metres and it was extremely tiring because there was also hills too. When you run up a hill, you need speed and big steps while going downhill, you will need small steps and slower speed.

Marathon of Hope!!!

Tomorrow is the Terry Fox/Cross Country Run and I hope that I will be getting a ribbon because the top ten who finishes first will be recieving a ribbon. It is the similar to the ones we get for Track and Field except it says Cross Country instead. Wish me good luck!!!

Friday is a PA Day and that means I won't have to go to school but the bad news is that I will still have to go to math class... BOO!!!

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatball

Yesterday, my dad and me went to Silvercity Cinema to watch Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and it was also in 3D too. I think that this movie is really good because there is meatballs falling from the sky and sometimes, the meatballs fly into you which makes it really really cool. I would recommend this movie because I think that it is because it is as good as the ones I watched before and because it is a hit in my school.

The movie is about a scientist inventing a machine that changes water to food. Since the place where he lived in only ate sardines for food, many of the habitants living there was requesting so much food that a problem came up...

Today is the third week of school and I already have two projects coming up.

Chinese School!!!

I will be going to chinese school today and it will be the second day of chinese school. A few weeks later, there will be my first chinese dictation. Also yesterday in my math class, I have learned scientific notation, exponents and divisibilty rules.

I have been learning to play clarinet for about a year now and I want to join the wind ensemble this year. Since I am renting an instrument, that means I am automatically in the band. Also, I am currently on the announcement team and the integrity team. I will be doing announcements for the entire school in the morning for a whole month starting on January 2010. I am so excited because only grade 8's get to be in the announcement team and I am also feeling very honored to be in it.

Clarinet!!!

Yesturday, my dad and me went to Cosmo Music to rent my clarinet. I will be using this one instead of the school which means that I won't have to share with other students and also, it will be free of any spit. I hope that I will remember what I learned last year!!!

Second week of school!!!

Today is the start of the second week. I have not a lot of homework but we had a quiz today for math. I got perfect on it since it was all review for me and the topic was on graphing numbers. For dinner, dad will be making fuzzy squash with eggs and we will also be drinking fuzzy squash soup. It will be as delicious as the ones in Hong Kong because we grew it ourselves so it will be more fresh and "sweet".

Sushi!!!

Today, we are going to Sushi on 7 with Teddy and Amy for dinner. Sorry that I haven't been posting during these past few days because I was out with my friends. On Thursday, we went for a very long bike ride and visited two of our friends house. I went back home on that day at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, I went to the same friend's house for a birthday party. We had a blast because we got to talk and play Wii. That is why I didn't post anything these past few days.

Also, my math,chinese and line dance lessons will be starting this coming week. Hope that I will have time to post!!! :D

Fuzzy Squash

Today, we harvested a fuzzy squash today from our backyard garden. This is one of the older ones and we will be harvesting a few more soon. YAY!!! I will be able to eat fuzzy squash with eggs soon!!!

First day of school...

Today is the first day of school. In my class, there is 16 boys and 9 girls which is also counting me. That means that there is a total of 25 kids in my class. This year, there is only one new kid in our class and also no doubles.

I am very fortunate today that we only have one homework on the first day of school. He really is a very nice teacher and i'm sure that I will have a great year.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments but the bad news is that Teddy is feeling sick today so the trip to Centre Island is going to be postponed to next week. I definetly will take some time next week to take pictures of this beautiful place!!!

Centre Island

Tommorow we are going to go to Centre Island with Teddy and Amy. It is a very long time since I have gone there and I am looking forward to it. All I remember is that we have to ride a boat to get there.

Today, I have been getting ready for school and I bought some last minute stationary at Wal Mart. I think that I have everything I need for school and I am really looking forward to it. I wonder what friends will I make this year and also, my goal is to work harder to get better grades. Do you agree?

I heard that Tracy and So Soo went bike riding today. I wonder how much laps did they make and also, did the speaker keep on crackling, like the last time I did. I hope they had fun!!!

Instant Coffee

Today, I helped my mom dye her hair again. I also took a picture of the coffee mix we used and it has to be very dark. But you could also use tea but it also has to be very dark too.

Again...

Today, I woke up at 4:00 a.m in the morning and the sun was still not up. At first, I thought I already slept for a really long time but when I looked at the clock I realized I only slept for a few hours.

Later, we are going to have chinese tea with Teddy and Amy. I have no idea which restaurant we are going to go to but hope it is good.

Good News!!! Are floor is nearly visible now, since most of our stuff is in are drawers, and only the little stuff is left.

Tired...

I feel so tired today and guess what time I woke up today?...3:00 p.m. Isn't that weird??? I bet that the time in Hong Kong has to affect us.

My friends have also confirmed that I am not in the teacher I have last year's class. He was a soldier for the Canadian Army so I think that we will have gym with him. I remember when I was in grade one I think, he taught us gym.

Last Day :C

Today will be my last day in Hong Kong. I wonder how much hours I will have to spend on the airplane and what delicious food I will get :P Also, I want to say good bye to everyone who is in Hong Kong and hopr to see you all soon!!! Bye Bye!!!

Ballet!!!

Today, we are going to watch a ballet and the show is on Cinderella. All the performers will be from the Hong Kong Ballet and this is the 30th anniversary special. Hope it will be very exciting!

Yesterday, we went to Grandma's House to eat and their was abalone. I ate one and a half because it was very yummy since New Year. Also, it was very tender and full of flavor.

Shopping!!!

Today, we are going to go shopping with Grace and also have dinner with her at Grandma's Place. I wonder what else will happen today???

This coming Sunday, we are going to watch UP but in Cantonese version. (There will be nine people coming.) I want to watch it again because it is really funny. Good thing I watched in Canada so I will get what it means, I also wonder how are they going to translate it??? Afterwards, we are going to go swimming at Tracy's place... it will be so much fun!!

Punya Saya Kamus (My Dictionary) (Indonesia language!!!)

Yesturday, Tracy took me to Tsuen Wan Broadway shop to buy my belated birthday present. It is an electronic dictionary. The brand is besta and is costs less than 3000 dollars. It comes with a Oxford dictionary and we got a free gift, an Adidas towel!!! It has thirteen different languages and you can also put japanese to chinese or the other way around. I think that this will be very useful for me. Thank you Tracy for such a wonderful present!!!

Baby Pooh And Mickey!!!

In disneyland, I bought a huggable baby pooh and my mom bought a baby mickey. They are so adorable and also, if you shake them or pat them, they will ring since there is a tiny bell in them. But i'm not really that sure. I slept with pooh last night and she was so cute. Cause each time I move, it will ring and the sound is so soothing. I'm sorry but I can't post any pictures since the computer can't read SDHC cards... :C

Disneyland!!!

Yesturday, we went to Hong Kong Disneyland!!! There was a lot of cool stuff but it was very hot. We went to many different shows and also, we watched two different parades. My favourite was Space Mountain because we got to sit in the first cart and I was in the first row. Ain't I lucky??? Also, we got to watch the Waterworks parade and I got somewhat wet. Since we weren't in the first row and we also had an umbrella but the bottom half was wet.

The day before, we went to Disneyland hotel and since Woo Soo have Annual Pass, he upgraded us to the best room!!! It was two rooms put together. One part have a sofabed with tv and tables, the other was two big beds. Since the bed was too tall, I slept on the sofabed. Also, me and Caspar watched Lilo and Stitch 2 before we slept and the next morning, Woo Soo had to wake me up at 6:00 am... so sleepy cause we watched until 1:00 am.
Another good thing was that there was a huge outdoor swimming pool, also with a slide. I got to swim in that two times but the bad thing is that the water isn't that deep.

Back to Hong Kong!!!

Today, we went to back to Hong Kong!!! I'm not sure where we are going to go today but i'm sure we will be very busy.
