The Moon and The Mars

Today is August 28, 2010 and it is a very spectacular day. It is the day when Mars and the Moon is the closest together in many many years. Probably once  in a lifetime for us. I took a few pictures beside the moon is mars. I zoomed in using dad’s camera and that really tiny dot was really mars. Hope you like it. :D I was very lucky to be able to see this because the next time that it will come this close will be a long long time.

MY NEW LAPTOP <3

I FINALLY GOT MY LAPTOP TODAY and I am SOOOOO HAPPY!!! :D I have been waiting for this day for a very long time and it is finally the time when I am about to go to high school and I need a laptop. This laptop costs $549 and is on sale. It is cheap compared to the other computers that I have looked at since it comes in i3-350 processor. The i series is really new and there is currently three versions: i3, i5 and i7. The i3 is the cheapest while i7 can cost more than 1000 dollars. Also this laptop is 15.6 inches which means it has a really large screen and also it comes with Dolby Home Theater which we just found out because it means the music is really good. In addition, it comes along with a 500 GB hard drive. Another cool feature about the laptop is that when you are using the touchpad, it LIGHTS up!!!! :D Isn’t that SOOO COOOL?

Niagara Falls and Canada One :)

Today, Amy Auntie, Teddy Uncle, mom and me drove ALL the way to Niagara Falls to see The Falls. It’s been quite a while since I went to see the falls. We also went to Canada One Factory Outlet. I bought new shoes and I finally dumped my old neon green mickey shoes. I bought the mickey shoes the last time I went to Hong Kong and I loved them because they were very comfortable but these new shoes are ALSO very comfortable because obviously it is Nike. Also, the blue sweater I was wearing was also new and mom bought the same sweater but a different colour.

Last Harvest of the Year

Our last harvest of the year.
This might be the last fuzzy squash for this season and it surely is a really large one. It weighs four pounds which is the heaviest of the squash we got so far. This year we have a really lucky year. We got a lot of harvest from the two plants and it is also very yummy with little seeds.

Also, if there are any orders for these ontario grown fuzzy squash, I have to say sorry that we do not transport vegetables to outside ontario.

Our Veggie Garden

Today we were checking on our backyard and there were A LOT of fuzzy squash. This year, we are having a good harvest. Lots of green onions and now LOTS of fuzzy squash. I counted at least eleven, and three of them were ready to cut down. We have already ate two and they were really good. Not a lot of seeds even though it was big. Our garden is now like a forest. The leaves are HUGE, most of them are even bigger than my hand and its now growing SOO strong that sooner it will go to our neighbour's backyard.

BEST DAY EVA

Today me and my buddies had a great time.... we watched the movie Ramona and Beezus. It was a GREAT MOVIE <3 :D since ever since I was little, I loved reading that series. It talks about a little girl (Ramona) who is very energetic and is always having a wild imagination that causes most oftenly to get into trouble. While her sister (Beezus) is always getting annoyed with her antics.
Basically my favourite scenes were the water fight where the Quimbys (Ramona's Family) and her neighbours had a HUGE water fight cause Ramona accidentally sprayed water at the neighbour which egnited the fight. Another scene I really liked was when Ramona felt that she wasn't wanted in her family so she decided to run away. Her mom helps her pack a luggage since Ramona decides that she will leave forever. Her mom obviously does not want her to leave but to teach Ramona a lesson, she helps Ramona pack but put extremely heavy stuff so that Ramona wouldn't be able to carry it. After going a short while, Ramona is frustrated and thats when a walkie talkie in the suitcase speaks which is her mom looking for her. In the end Ramona doesn't run away. Both of these scenes I can relate with the books which I still enjoy reading.
Also, Selena Gomez was starring in this movie. She was really pretty in this movie and she acted as Beezus one of the two main characters. She is a really famous american actor and also singer. In the end, her song Live Like There's No Tomorrow is played.
TODAY WAS THE BEST DAY!!!!
Because afterward, my family, amy's family and me all went to eat SUSHI :D YUMMMY <3
