Ryerson Student Life is a website that is for students like us to understand how life at Ryerson is. There are many posts by other peers giving the reader guidance and tips to survive the Downtown life and they are hosting a contest for 5 upcoming students to have a chance to be able to post about their experience at Ryerson. I would love to be able to be one of the student as it would be an awesome experience and it would be beneficial as I would get a change to improve my communication skills online. This is my video submission for the contest and the two rules are that it has to be around 30s and you have to display your excitement to go to Ryerson.
Hope you enjoy it!!!
After spending four years at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School, I have finally finished one more chapter of my life… I had lots of great memories at this school and was able to meet lots of great friends. I wanted to share some photos that Daddy took at my commencement. I can finally say that I have graduated high school and along with that encountered lots of great people that I will surely miss. In addition, I received three extra certificates along with my high school diploma; Ontario Scholar (for students who have a 80+ average), Business Endorsement Certificate (for taking 5 or more business courses) and Business SHSM (which states that I specialized in business in high school). Thank you for being with me and supporting me this chapter of my life and I am so excited to go to university in September and meet more people, learn more and make more memories!

These two pictures were taken by my friend’s parents and I wanted to show it to you as well.
Click here to see a post about the student council awards I won last month… that I finally decided to post about. hahaha
Hey Everyone,
So I thought I would share this all with you. My friends all surprised me today at school by coming up to me during random times of the day and handed me a yellow rose. Each rose had a personalized note attached to it and in total I got around 24 roses.
To them yellow roses meant friendship and they wanted to give it to me because of all the happiness I gave them during these few years we had together in high school. My french teacher gave me a white rose because that represented the purity of the heart and how I was always there for my friends.
After that, at the end of the day, they forced me to sit in a chair and watch this video and I thought I would share this video with all of you.
I was very fortunate enough to be nominated for two awards by my teacher to receive a student council award.
Here are a few pictures my dad took:
This was an award recognizing my efforts and for winning the Ma Francite en 60 Secondes contest. Beside me are two of my friends who also won the contest as well! Background Information: There are five winners and three of them were by us! (:
This next award is nominated by my teacher for having a positive outlook in life.
Here’s a picture of the teacher who nominated me! She’s also my french teacher for four years!
A group picture of me and my friends with our french teacher who nominated us to get these awards!
Enjoy the photos Dad took when we went to Ottawa for the Tulip Festival last week.

P.s Video is coming soon I didn’t have time to edit the video yet.
HEY EVERYONE... I bet you're thinking "OMG SAM UPLOADED ANOTHER VIDEO?!?!?" and I'm going to say "YES I UPLOADED ANOTHER VIDEO!!!!" OMG THIS IS GOING TO BE A GREAT DAY! :)
So last week I went on a field trip Downtown where I got to see a lot of really cool stuff so I decided to film it and put it together as a video. Sorry for the really long and awkward intro but it has been a really long time since I've talked to a camera 1 on 1 so it was really awkward and weird. Also I think that my editing for this video was not as good but I still hope you enjoy my adventures and staring at my face. :)
xoxo, Sam
