All the Food...

I can't deny that I love some delicious food.
Chinese Food, Canadian Food, All the Food.
Just as long as it tastes good and makes me full,
I love me some food, All the Food.
Poem by Me

Hahaha. Sorry that video was extremely short and contained clips of only food. Thanks for watching and see you tomorrow!!

Christmas Tree Disappears

It's the most terrible time of the year.
With the ornaments falling,
And everyone singing "No more good cheer"
It's the most terrible time of the year.
It's the sad-saddest season of all
With the christmas tree falling and lights not twinkling
When everything falls
It's the most terrible time of the year.

That was my attempt of changing the lyrics to "It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year" song to match my mood for today. Hope you enjoy today's video! Thanks for all the support, it really means a lot to me.

What I got on Boxing Day

Today's video is slightly different... instead of just filming what I did for the entire day, I decided to show you what I got yesterday from Boxing Day. There were a lot of sales and I bought quite a lot of stuff and I wanted to show it to you all. Also because I thought the sales were such a bargain that they needed to be shared. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video and if you like this type of video, tell me and I will try to do more similar to this format in the future.

BOXING DAY SHOPPING

So this year we decided not to follow our christmas tradition and go shopping at Fairview Mall instead of Eaton Centre. Although we woke up relatively (actually very) late... we still managed to buy quite a lot of CHEAPPPPPP (mom told me to write this) stuff (all the stuff I bought will be shown in tomorrow's video). Hope you enjoyed this short video and have a super awesome day!

Mom's Back

3 weeks have officially passed and Mom is finally back from her trip to Hong Kong!! And she comes back bearing lots of christmas presents. Thank you everyone for the wonderful christmas gifts and I love them all! After picking mom up from the airport, and unpacking all the wonderful gifts, we went to a sushi place for Christmas dinner with a few family friends.

Btw this is the biggest sushi boat I've ever seen.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE YEUNG FAMILY!!!

Birthday Party

Went to my best friend's house today to celebrate her birthday which passed a few days ago and to do our Secret Santa exchange. It was a lot of fun and I received some pretty cool stuff from my Secret Santa. Hope you enjoy the video... it might be difficult to understand some times due to some of the jokes are inside jokes among me and my friends. Thanks for all the continuous support!

Market Shopping

Had an awesome day today and also thank you dad for taking such amazing pictures. The weather was great (although super cold) allowed the perfect filming/photographing conditions.

We first went to the St. Lawrence Market to grab some food; I got Haddock Fish and Chips while Dad got a Peameal Bacon Sandwich. We then walked around, looked at all the food being sold in the market and Farmer's Market then headed off to the Toronto Christmas Market located in the Distillery District.

The Toronto Christmas Market was amazing and I really highly recommend anyone who is in Toronto to go visit at least once. However, there were a section where many beer/liquor stalls were set up and therefore is suitable for adults. But, there was also a section where little kids had a chance to go into a Kinder (photo booth? maybe? I'm not sure because I wasn't 12 years old or younger therefore couldn't check it out) and they got a huge Kinder Surprise!!!!

In conclusion, both of these markets were very different from each other and they are definitely worthwhile to check it out.

Best Friend Does My Makeup Challenge

Here's a pretty bad picture of me in full makeup. My friend, Teresa, came over and we hung out again but this time we actually did stuff. I finally decided to let her do my makeup as she had been bugging me for years to let her do it and I finally let her. (Also because I wanted to see and understand the different types of makeup). We also watched two classic christmas movies 1) Love at Christmas Table and 2) A Christmas Kiss. I quite liked both the movies; the movies were very cheesy, cute and romantic. I hope you enjoy today's video and thanks for all the support!

Mystery Chocolate Challenge

Today was quite an eventful day again. Me and my friend, Teresa, went to Markville Mall (I know again) to look for last minute birthday gifts for a birthday party happening this weekend. Yesterday was a lot of clothes and accessories window shopping while today was a lot cosmetics and perfume window shopping. Interestingly enough, I did not film a lot of myself and I just realized that while I was editing it. Hope you don't mind seeing less of my face today haha.

Thanks for all the amazing support and continue enjoying my videos!!!

Steak Dinner

Today was a pretty eventful day but once again due to the fact my friend didn't want to be filmed, the video was a short one. Hopefully tomorrow's video will be a better one... :P

Hanging Out With Friends

So today is a short one because I didn't record a lot of clips with my friends because I wanted to spend more time with them rather than shoving a camera into their face. Hope you understand. Thanks for all the support on my vlogs!!! I love you all so much.

Winter Break Videos

So first year of university exams are done which means I get a whole month of holiday / vacation / break... whatever you want to call in. Since my mom is in Hong Kong and I've got nothing to do, I've decided to start making videos and TRY (REALLY REALLY TRY) to post one video up every single day for the entire break. Hope you enjoy this month of videos!!

Also, since I've gotten my new computer, I have not edited any videos yet on this software so I'm taking this month to try to master it at the same time having fun. Thanks for the support and Happy Holidays!!!

Happy Birthday Mom!

So Daddy and Me (more specifically me) have been buying and hiding mom's birthday presents in my closet for at least a month for this very day! I am so happy that she loved the presents and I decided that I would film her reaction to it.

I love you very much Mommy and thanks for everything!!!

Spontaneous Trip to Niagara On The Lake

A few days back, my mom told me about the Lavender Festival and how we could see it here in Toronto but unfortunately the festival had already happened. However while I was researching the information for the Lavender Festival, I stumble upon a website advertising the Peach Festival that was occurring on the weekend so we quickly decided to do a spontaneous family road trip to Niagara On The Lake to purchase some delicious fruits and visit Neob Lavender Fields to see if we could get some pictures as well.

Unfortunately I had a driving lesson in the morning so we were late to arrive at the Peach Festival in Niagara On The Lake.

After walking around the Main Street and purchasing some delicious fruit jams from Greaves, we left Niagara On The Lake to a place called Neob Lavender where they grow a couple acres of lavender. Unfortunately due to the ice storm that occurred this past winter, many lavender plants were killed therefore we were unable to see a fully grown lavender field.

After a 15 minute tour by a very nice tour guide named Rob, we left the farm and before we left the area, we purchased some fruits and vegetables from a farm vendor.

(You could see I was pretty happy with our purchases)

We were pretty hungry after our adventure and drove back to Niagara Falls where we had dinner at the Boston Pizza.

(Here's me trying to be a dinosaur)

And a couple of pictures of the food we had. I didn't want to post them all because we just got the normal pastas and chicken wings but this Seafood Fettucine was absolutely delicious.

Oh and we also got one HUGE slice of Chocolate Explosion. It had a decadent brownie cake crust with chocolate mousse with nuts and cheesecake throughout the cake. OMG IT WAS SO DELICIOUS AND I LOVE IT.

After that super filling dinner, we decided to walk around Niagara Falls and then we discovered that there was going to be fireworks so we stayed behind and watched the beautiful 6 minute fireworks display. As we were waiting for the fireworks to start, we all got matching neon leather bracelets because Mom wanted one after she saw that I got one last time and then Dad got one too and then I got one too so I wasn't left out. Also Mom finally got something that has her own name on it!

And the drive home was HORRIBLE. We were stuck in a super huge traffic jam for at least two hours and managed to only cover 7 km of ground. We found out there was construction and the normally three lane highway was minimized into one lane. However during the traffic jam I got to see a large amount of people parked on the side sleeping because they were too tired. That was surely an experience of a lifetime.

Hope you also enjoyed this post and thanks Dad for taking these awesome pictures!

Sam

#RoadToRyerson

Ryerson Student Life is a website that is for students like us to understand how life at Ryerson is. There are many posts by other peers giving the reader guidance and tips to survive the Downtown life and they are hosting a contest for 5 upcoming students to have a chance to be able to post about their experience at Ryerson. I would love to be able to be one of the student as it would be an awesome experience and it would be beneficial as I would get a change to improve my communication skills online. This is my video submission for the contest and the two rules are that it has to be around 30s and you have to display your excitement to go to Ryerson.

Hope you enjoy it!!!

High School Graduation

After spending four years at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School, I have finally finished one more chapter of my life… I had lots of great memories at this school and was able to meet lots of great friends. I wanted to share some photos that Daddy took at my commencement. I can finally say that I have graduated high school and along with that encountered lots of great people that I will surely miss. In addition, I received three extra certificates along with my high school diploma; Ontario Scholar (for students who have a 80+ average), Business Endorsement Certificate (for taking 5 or more business courses) and Business SHSM (which states that I specialized in business in high school). Thank you for being with me and supporting me this chapter of my life and I am so excited to go to university in September and meet more people, learn more and make more memories!

Birthday Present

IMG_4957

Hey Everyone,

So I thought I would share this all with you. My friends all surprised me today at school by coming up to me during random times of the day and handed me a yellow rose. Each rose had a personalized note attached to it and in total I got around 24 roses.

To them yellow roses meant friendship and they wanted to give it to me because of all the happiness I gave them during these few years we had together in high school. My french teacher gave me a white rose because that represented the purity of the heart and how I was always there for my friends.

After that, at the end of the day, they forced me to sit in a chair and watch this video and I thought I would share this video with all of you.

I was very fortunate enough to be nominated for two awards by my teacher to receive a student council award.

Here are a few pictures my dad took:

This was an award recognizing my efforts and for winning the Ma Francite en 60 Secondes contest. Beside me are two of my friends who also won the contest as well! Background Information: There are five winners and three of them were by us! (:

Day in Downtown Toronto

HEY EVERYONE... I bet you're thinking "OMG SAM UPLOADED ANOTHER VIDEO?!?!?" and I'm going to say "YES I UPLOADED ANOTHER VIDEO!!!!" OMG THIS IS GOING TO BE A GREAT DAY! :)

IMG_4248

So last week I went on a field trip Downtown where I got to see a lot of really cool stuff so I decided to film it and put it together as a video. Sorry for the really long and awkward intro but it has been a really long time since I've talked to a camera 1 on 1 so it was really awkward and weird. Also I think that my editing for this video was not as good but I still hope you enjoy my adventures and staring at my face. :)

Day at the Toronto Zoo Photos

Dad finally finished editing the photos and he has uploaded it for you all to look at it! Enjoy the pretty photos!

Day at the Toronto Zoo

Hi everyone! Sorry haven't made a video for SUCH a long long time. I've been busy with school and have not been able to record something in decent quality to upload onto Youtube.

But after a super long hiatus I have returned with a new AND adorable video of my adventure to the Toronto Zoo. I was able to record a lot of footage at the zoo and I had a long of fun looking at the different animals. The weather was also great and I got to show off my new panda shirt (which I think the panda recognized).

Hope you enjoy watching my new video! :) Thanks for understanding my lack of posts and videos. :P
