Report Card :(

I will be getting my report card this coming week and I am so scared. I hope that I will get good marks in it because I am hoping that I got a higher average than last year.

Dad will be going on the plane in a couple of minutes and I wish that he will have a safe trip going there and back. I wonder what kind of gifts is he going to get me when he is in Hong Kong. HEHE!!! Umm, Dad, hope that you have a very safe trip and a good time in the short 10 days in Hong Kong!!! You are making me very jealous because I want to go there again even though it is for 10 days.

V.I.P Program

Today, we had a police officer come to our school. His name was David and he talked to us about the law and drugs. Also, he showed us a video about a girl who actually did one of the drugs and got addicted to it. The drug she did was crystal and it is really addictive. It can make a person high and the feeling can last for days. I got really scared after hearing the consequences because during the feeling you have when you got the drug, you will feel that there are bugs on your skin and you will start peeling your skin away to get rid of those "bugs". Also, it will make you feel paranoid and you won't be able to observe your surroundings.

Another thing he talked about was the three types of laws. There is the municpal law, federal law and provincal law. The municpal law is only for cities for example markham, toronto, etc. The federal law is for the whole country which means for the entire Canada and the provincal law is for provinces for example Ontario, Quebec, etc.

Christmas Carols...

I can't wait till December 18 because on that day, it is when the Christmas carols will be sung. I will have to play with the Wind Ensemble while the students will sing along with us. We will be playing two times; once for the primaries and juniors and the second time for the intermediates. I am kind of having a tough time because there is a lot of high notes compared to the song I played for So Soo(Happy Birthday) and whenever we play, we make weird noise or screeching high noises. I always cringe whenever I create those kinds of sound.

Eye Check Up!!!

This morning, I went to Missuasauga for eye check up and they said that my eyes were doing pretty well. I will be getting new presciption glasses since the doctor said that my eyes are getting better. We spended the total time of around an hour there because first I had a checkup with another doctor and then I got eyedrops, then a nurse checked my eyes to see my presciption and last but not least, the real doctor came and checked over everything and made sure everything was correct. During the waiting time, I got to watch parts of Chicken Run even though I couldn't hear a thing; since the waiting room was very noisy.

When I got to school today, I couldn't see a thing because the eye drops they putted in my eyes made me unable to see clearly. I had to have my friend write my name for me so I could hand in my assignments. She said that she became Samantha Yeung because she was writing my name for me so much times but actually, it was only for two times.

Eye Doctor Checkup

On Tuesday, I will be going to the eye doctor for checkup. It will be at Mississauga and I will be missing school!!! Tracy, meet you at Mississauga for yum cha. See you there!!! Also, here is a few other pictures I took at school last week.

123 POSTS ON MY BLOG!!!

Hooray!!! I offically have 123 posts but now counting this one, it is 124 posts on my blog.

Yesturday, we went to Scarbourgh Town Centre where we went shopping. It was a very long time since we went shopping so there were many interesting changes at the mall and also many sales. We went to several shops and I bought 2 sweaters because it was on sale and we got an extra additional 20% off on that day. Another good thing was that I got to use my heelys and rolled around. It was pretty awesome because I "walked" faster than my dad.

Bully Lobster

Last month, after a noon dance party, we ate a 6+ lbs lobster to celebrate. It was very sweet and yummy since there was a lot of meat. Soo Soo, after you looked at this picture, did u 流口水??? I did even though I ate a lot. Thank You Big Line Dance Teacher, for treating us in this delicious meal.

Before it got eaten, I got a picture with the lobster. I never knew that lobsters could watch tv because this one was like the women in Titanic. :D

Chinese Exam

Today was the Chinese Exam and at first I thought that I was going to fail it since the sheet he gave us to review was very hard to understand. (My mom helped me study.) After doing the test, I realised that it was very simple since the teacher gave us hints which made it much easier to do. Also, I got my math test that I had to do last week. Guess what I go.... a 97%!!!! I got the highest mark in my whole class. (This is not for day school.)

Reflection: This year, after going to math classes, I think that my math have improved a lot. This term, my average is around the 90s so I'm pretty sure that helped me a lot in improving my math grades. Also, my language is much improved maybe because I spend lesser time on asking for help in math but to think more deeper. I HOPE THAT MY GRADES HAVE IMPROVED SINCE LAST YEAR!!!

Hey... What day is it on November 13??? If you guessed it a day for one of my math test, then I'm very sorry to tell you that you are wrong. On November 13, it is Soo Soo's Birthday!!! That means that he is now one year older which = more white hair and also lesser hair. HAHA!!! Well Soo Soo, i'm going to send you this video and I hope you enjoy it. Sorry for the bad quality but I have a lot of homework still to be done so I can of rushed it. So, Soo Soo, please don't get mad me just because I rushed it. I put a lot of effort to learn the notes and create this video so enjoy!!!

Happy Remembrance Day!

Happy Remembrance Day to Everyone!!! I had a great time performing for the entire school. The number of students that were staring at us were about 700 people and I never missed a note, squeaked or paused!!! The five songs we played for the concert was O Canada, Aura Lee, Chorale 87, Chorale 156 and Glorious Things. To me, I think that O Canada is the hardiest for me to play since some of the notes were very high but they gave us a easier option. Whenever I play very high notes, I squeak or can't make a sound and only air comes out.

Remembrance Day!!!

On November 11, it will be remembrance day. The main meaning of this day is to remember the soldier that fought and died during World War II. The wind ensemble will be practicing for two days this week and we will be playing a couple of songs. One of the songs I definitely know we will be playing is Ode to Joy and Aura Lee.

On Sunday, we had to do our Daylight Saving. Our time in Canada is an hour slower than yours in Hong Kong so make sure you calculate what time it is for us!!! DON'T CALL US DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT... we will not pick it up!!! HAHA!!! :D
