So our awesome french teacher (Her Name is Madame D’Angelo) decided that she would participate in this year’s talent show. It was a parody of the actual hit song (Gangnam Style) and she persuaded a bunch of her students (including me) to join her on this awesome experience. It was a lot of fun, we rehearsed a lot of times (well I did) and some people slacked off but it was still pretty amazing (considering that not every single student knew how to dance/ took dance classes). I helped with the dance choreography (the steps), me and my friend got a mini duet and then near the end you will see me helping move the chairs on the side.
The story of our performance is this:
We are in a talent show competition, and I was one of the judges (alongside my teacher who was right beside me and also a student who was right beside my teacher) and the question was to say the word “cat” in french… the first group obviously got it wrong (they said stylo which meant pen) and obviously the group of really cool boys (representatives from our school) and Trudeau High School Won!!!
Then it goes off into trying to persuade every single person to learn to do “Trudeau Style” which is just “Gangnam Style” in french and I was one of the first to be converted (as my comment was also the nicest). So that was about it….

Here is our attempt of breaking the world record for dragon dancing!!!! Had so much fun.. but it was so cold that day.
I don’t know why during the middle of the video… there is a slight pause and I don’t know how to fix it so yeah. Weird.
I’m pretty sure most of you guys know that I went to a Dance Workshop in Chicago for the long weekend. It was a lot of fun got to meet so many people from all around the world and also got to learn so many new dances (now my foot is sore). So one of my favourite choreographers is Daniel Trepat and his new dance Turn It Up was really fun and I got to learn it on the last day I was there. (:

So I did another project for french and we had to read this french poem, analyse it and then change either the ending or add lines to it. This is the poem:

So you’re probably now wondering why I got to be in this video well this guy, Ricky Dillon is one of my favourite youtubers. His videos are very professional looking and right now he is majoring in film in university. I think he is very talented and he wanted to do like a big collab in which he wanted his fans to be a part of this video. So all we had to do was film ourselves dancing, saying hello, lip syncing the video or holding up the sign that says hello. I think that I am pretty lucky that he chose the part where I was lip syncing and dancing because that part you will be able to see me more often than the sign or saying hello.
So yeah… hope you enjoyed this video!!
