Dragon Dance
Here is our attempt of breaking the world record for dragon dancing!!!! Had so much fun.. but it was so cold that day.
I don’t know why during the middle of the video… there is a slight pause and I don’t know how to fix it so yeah. Weird.

Dance Demo
I’m pretty sure most of you guys know that I went to a Dance Workshop in Chicago for the long weekend. It was a lot of fun got to meet so many people from all around the world and also got to learn so many new dances (now my foot is sore). So one of my favourite choreographers is Daniel Trepat and his new dance Turn It Up was really fun and I got to learn it on the last day I was there. (:
Since I didn’t have time to make any videos… hahaha I hope this will do (:
And here is a video of the choreographer demoing it. He is amazing….

French Project
So I did another project for french and we had to read this french poem, analyse it and then change either the ending or add lines to it. This is the poem:
Il a mis le café (He puts the coffee)
Dans la tasse (inside the cup)
Il a mis le lait (He puts the milk)
Dans la tasse de café (inside the cup of coffee)
Il a mis le sucre (He puts the sugar)
Dans le café au lait (In the coffee with milk)
Avec la petite cuiller (with a small spoon)
Il a tourné (he stirs)
Il a bu le café au lait (he drinks the coffee)
Et il a reposé la tasse (and puts down the cup)
Sans me parler (without talking to me)
Il a allumé (he lights)
Une cigarette (a cigarette)
Il a fait des ronds (he makes circles)
Avec la fumée (with the smoke)
Il a mis les cendres (he puts the ashes)
Dans le cendrier (in the ashtray)
Sans me parler (without talking to me)
Sans me regarder (without looking at me)
Il s'est levé (he stands up)
Il a mis (he puts)
Son chapeau sur sa tête (a hat on his head)
Il a mis son manteau de pluie (he puts on a raincoat)
Parce qu'il pleuvait (because it is raining)
Et il est parti (and he leaves)
Sous la pluie (in the rain)
Sans une parole (without a sound)
Sans me regarder (without looking)
Et moi j'ai pris (and I take)
Ma tête dans ma main (my head with my hands)
Et j'ai pleuré (and I cried)
So this was the original poem and we had to change it up a bit.
Il s’est agenouillé (and he kneeled)
Il a pris une boîte (he took out a box)
De son poche (from his pocket)
Il m’a regardé (he looked at me)
Il m’a parlé (he talked)
En dehors, il pleuvait (and it was raining)
J’ai crié (and I cried)
J’ai pleuré (and I shouted)
J’étais en paradis (I am in paradise)
Aujourd’hui est le meilleur jour (today was the best day)
De ma vie (in my life)
Can you guess what our story was about? So this was how we interpreted it….
