Today, I went to downtown where we went to the National Film Board of Canada. This is a very famous organization that created thousands of films and won 12 Oscars (Movie Award) and was founded around World War 2. This field trip is for Media Arts and stop motions, ads or pictures were created for this subject. In the end, I will have to create a digital portfolio and the video will be posted to display all my work I have done during this semester.
The movie we watched was called Roadsworth and it was about a Quebec Street Artist and his persecution of art. It was a pretty cool movie because the art he created merged into the atmosphere of Quebec but the citizens did not like it and one day he was arrested with 70 something charges. The movie is about his journey from the beginning to doing it illegally all the way to be able to paint legally. Below is a link for the trailer:

After watching the movie, we got to do whatever we want for around one hour. Since after the movie was finished, it was noon time which was lunch time. I got like a sandwich and also had a Starbucks Frappuccino.
Caramel Frappuccino with whipped cream.
But I did not have enough time to finish all the whipped cream. And today was like 40 degrees with humidex so this drink was very refreshing.
After eating, we went around to look at the stores and ads. My Media Arts teacher gave us a challenge to find ads to spoof, and here is an example of a spoof ad I did earlier in the year for Chanel No5.
